Request of the City Commission of the City of Dania Beach to approve an agreement with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for a Clean Vessels Act Program Grant.

Description of Action

The agreement with DEP would provide the City with $90,000.00 in grant funding to construct a pump out facility in the Dania Beach Marina.

Fiscal Impact/Cost Summary

The financial impact to the City is minimal.  The grant requires a 25% match, which has already been appropriated in the construction contract.
